Spherical High-Entropy Alloy (HEA) Powder
Spherical High-Entropy Alloy (HEA) Powder consists of multiple principal elements (typically 4+ and 5+) in near-equal proportions, designed for advanced manufacturing like 3D printing, offering superior strength, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability due to high configurational entropy and lattice distortion. Its ideal spherical shape and uniform particle size provide excellent flowability for processes like Powder Bed Fusion (PBF), enabling creation of high-performance components for aerospace, automotive, and energy industries. Mainstream processes include plasma rotating electrode process (PREP), gas atomization (GA), and inductively coupled plasma process. The elemental composition of spherical high-entropy alloy powders is highly tunable.
Typical systems include CoCrFeNiMn, TaNbVTi, WTaZrHf, AlCoCrFeNi, TiZrHfNbMo, and CoCrFeNi.
