AISI 4135H is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel supplied under the "H" designation, which indicates controlled hardenability as defined by ASTM standards. This medium-carbon, low-alloy steel offers an excellent balance of strength, toughness, and wear resistance, particularly after appropriate heat treatment. Its superior hardenability over standard carbon steels makes it a preferred choice for high-stress, high-strength components.

* **Reduction of Area:** 45% - 60%
* **Hardness:** 28 - 40 HRC (Typical for many applications)
